1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using InnerPersona (“the Service,” “we,” “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use InnerPersona. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

2. What InnerPersona Is

InnerPersona is a consumer self-reflection product. It uses established psychological frameworks to generate a personality profile based on your self-reported responses. It is similar in nature to personality type indicators, genetic ancestry services that return trait-based interpretations, and journaling or self-awareness tools.

Nothing about this Service constitutes professional advice of any kind. Do not use your results to make medical, clinical, legal, financial, or relationship decisions on behalf of yourself or others without consulting an appropriate qualified professional.

3. No Professional Relationship

Using InnerPersona does not create a psychologist–patient, therapist–client, counsellor–client, or any other professional or healthcare relationship between you and InnerPersona.

InnerPersona does not employ or contract with licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, or any regulated mental health professionals to review, interpret, or deliver your results. All analyses are generated by artificial intelligence and have not been reviewed, approved, or endorsed by any licensed professional or regulatory body.

4. The Assessment

The assessment consists of self-report questions across multiple psychological frameworks, including personality trait scales and informational mental health screening instruments covering areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and autism-related traits.

All screening instruments are used strictly for informational and self-reflection purposes. They are not administered, scored, or interpreted by a qualified clinician. A high or low score on any screening instrument does not constitute a diagnosis, does not confirm the presence or absence of any condition, and should not be treated as such.

If any of your results concern you, please consult a licensed mental health professional.

5. Crisis Resources

We provide general signposting within the Service where relevant, but this does not make us a crisis intervention resource. We accept no responsibility for outcomes in crisis situations.

6. AI-Generated Reports

Your report is generated by artificial intelligence based on your self-reported responses. This means:

• Outputs are probabilistic, not deterministic. Two users with similar scores may receive different interpretations.
• The AI has no access to your personal history, context, relationships, or circumstances that a professional would consider in a real assessment.
• Report content is not clinically validated and is not equivalent to an assessment by a qualified professional.
• Reports are provided “as-is” with no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.

You accept full responsibility for how you read, interpret, and act on your report.

7. Payments and Refunds

Certain features require a one-time payment (“the Paid Report”). By completing a purchase, you acknowledge:

• All sales are final. We do not offer refunds once your paid report has been generated and delivered, as it constitutes immediate digital delivery of a personalised product.
• If a technical failure on our end prevents delivery of your report, contact us at care@innerpersona.me and we will resolve it.
• Promotional codes and coupons are single-use, non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be combined with other offers.
• Pricing is subject to change. Changes do not affect purchases already completed.

Payment is processed by a third-party provider. InnerPersona does not store your card details or payment credentials at any point.

8. Profile Sharing and Compatibility Features

InnerPersona may offer features that allow you to share your report or participate in compatibility analyses with another person. Where these features are available:

• Sharing is entirely your choice. You are solely responsible for deciding what to share, with whom, and what you do with any shared results.
• InnerPersona accepts no responsibility for how shared reports are interpreted, used, or acted upon by any third party.
• Compatibility analyses carry the same informational limitations as individual reports. They are not relationship advice.

9. User Responsibilities

By using InnerPersona, you agree that:

• You are using the Service voluntarily and at your own discretion.
• You are solely responsible for how you interpret and act upon your results.
• You will not use your results, or anyone else’s, to diagnose any condition in yourself or others.
• You will not represent InnerPersona results as clinical, professional, or diagnostic findings to any third party.
• You will seek professional support for any mental health concerns that arise.
• You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Service or its outputs commercially.

10. Assumption of Risk

By using InnerPersona, you acknowledge and accept:

• Self-report data has known limitations; results reflect what you reported, not an objective external truth.
• You may encounter information about yourself that is uncomfortable, surprising, or emotionally activating.
• Psychological self-reflection can occasionally trigger unexpected emotional responses.
• The Service may not capture the full complexity of who you are.
• You voluntarily assume all risks associated with using the Service and acting on its outputs.

11. Intellectual Property

All content generated by InnerPersona — including your report — is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, license, or create derivative works from any part of the Service or its outputs without our prior written consent.

The InnerPersona name, logo, and all underlying technology remain the intellectual property of InnerPersona and its operators.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InnerPersona and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service
• Any decision, action, or inaction taken based on your results
• Emotional distress, psychological discomfort, or relationship outcomes connected to your use of the Service
• Inaccuracy, incompleteness, or misinterpretation of AI-generated content
• Interruptions, outages, or data loss caused by third-party service providers

In any case, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or zero if you have not paid us anything.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless InnerPersona and its operators from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Any claim that your use of, or reliance on, your results caused harm to yourself or others
• Your violation of any third-party rights

14. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting care@innerpersona.me. Deleted data cannot be recovered. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe.

15. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern or dispute, please contact us first at care@innerpersona.me. We will make a genuine effort to resolve it informally.

If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from or relating to the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration. You agree to waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration. All claims must be brought in your individual capacity.

This clause does not prevent you from filing a complaint with any applicable consumer protection or regulatory authority.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. The invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving the original intent.
